TRANSCATHETER AORTIC VALVE IMPLANTATION AFTER CORONARY ARTERY BYPASS GRAFT

چکیده

The perioperative risk of surgical aortic valve replacement in patients with severe stenosis and previous coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) is increased. Transcatheter implantation (TAVI) represents an alternative. We report a case indication for native patient prior quadruple surgery. underwent 29-mm Corevalve Evolut R by left femoral catheterization (TAVI), under general anesthesia approach to the scarpa. procedure went well evolution was simple. TAVI after increasingly proposed alternative excellent results high-risk calcified stenosis.

Aortic valve stenosis after previous coronary bypass: Transcatheter valve implantation or aortic valve replacement?

We report a prospective comparison between transcatheter valve implantation (TAVI, n = 13) and surgical aortic valve replacement (AVR, n = 10) in patients with severe aortic valve stenosis and previous coronary bypass surgery (CABG). All patients had at least bilateral patent internal thoracic arteries bypass without indication of repeat revascularization. After a similar post-procedure outcome...

Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement After Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Is Associated With Increased Pacemaker Implantation but Not Reduced Overall Survival

Background A history of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a common compelling indication for transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR). However, there is little data on how these patients compare to other TAVR patients. In this study, the short and long-term outcomes of these TAVR patients after CABG are defined. Methods A retrospective chart review case-control study of 337 consecut...

Coronary Artery Disease and Symptomatic Severe Aortic Valve Stenosis: Clinical Outcomes after Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation

INTRODUCTION The impact of coronary artery disease (CAD) on outcomes after transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) has not been clarified. Furthermore, less is known about the indication and strategy of revascularization in these high risk patients. AIMS This study sought to determine the prevalence and prognostic impact of CAD in patients undergoing TAVI, and to assess the safety and ...

ecg abnormalities after transcatheter aortic valve implantation

transcatheteraortic valve implantation, first introduced in 2002, has been established as an alternative modality for patients deemed not suitable for open-heart surgery. the anatomical vicinity of the atrioventricular node and the his bundle to the non-coronary and rightcoronary aortic cusps predisposes patients to conduction abnormalities in case of severe calcification or mechanical trauma d...

Transapical transcatheter aortic valve replacement in patients with or without prior coronary artery bypass graft operation

BACKGROUND Transapical approach (TA) is an established access alternative to the transfemoral technique in patients undergoing transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) for treatment of symptomatic aortic valve stenosis. The impact of prior coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) on clinical outcomes in patients undergoing TA-TAVR is not well defined. METHODS A single center retrospective ...
